Honda Other description

I am selling a 1987 Honda Hurricane. The bike has around 34,xxx miles (Bike is in storage). I am selling it because I have purchased a ZX-14. The bike:New tires, rated to 12,000 mis. The tires currently have about 50 mis on them. New battery, less than 1yr of use, removed during September to avoid freezing. The spark plugs have been changed and have about 1,000mis on them. The right side of the bike has a broken faring. I have the repair materials which are included in the sale. Working lamps and blinkers.Corbin seat - comfortable for about 2 hours of continuous high way driving, comfortable for passenger for about an hour and a half. The Engine:Perfect condition. The Transmission:Provides quick gear shifts, no slippage in any gear. Needs:Nothing.Optional work:Repairing the fender on the right side.Replacing the break lever. Maintenance:Oil change - About 500mis since last oil change, although oil should be changed after the winter.Break fluid should be changed before next winter.Summary:This bike is an incredible machine. People will be surprised to hear that it is an '87 when you pull up on it. In the event that you wish to race it, it has a 2.8 2nd claimed 0-60 and a sub 12 2nd quarter mile. For daily driving, it averages 40 MILES-PER-GALLON city driving and up to 50 MILES-PER-GALLON on the freeways. Very comfortable, smooth drive. I have seen this bike selling for twice this price with 5x,xxx miles because this engine is extremely reliable. Additionally:If this bike is going to a new rider, I will provide free lessons after purchase. Within an hour of starting, you should be skilled enough to handle daily driving conditions.Insurance for an 18yr old driver with a clean record is less than $200 for an entire year. This is assuming the insurance policy is NOT under a parent. (Insurance drops substantially over time. By 19, the insurance is merely $89 for a year, assuming the policy is NOT under a parent.)Please email the provided Craigslist email address or text me at for any questions or interest in the bike. The general location of the bike is near the Twin Cities. -I am hoping to have this bike sold by February. Because of this, I have removed any negotiations and given the lowest possible price for the bike. Pictures of bike provided per request.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
