Honda Other description

Home garage built from Honda 1982 Nighthawk 750 donor. Bike is silver on grey has many new and upgraded parts. Runs well,  drives good. Lots of fun and, yes, comfortable Needs front fork seals. Needs carbs synched although it runs and drives fine I would recommend Honda mechanic tune up for optimum efficiency. Has Six Sigma FULL stage jet kit, carbs completely disassembled and cleaned. Has Lifo battery with tender and leads, works great, never lose power. Pod filters, chrome gauges, and hand installed LED dummy lights, LED flasher and tail/brake too. New super bars, grips , bar end mirrors, Kevlar disc pads, work great, new Dunlop 404s, NOTICE,I found a SOLID front rim NOT riveted like most 82s, matches rear rim. Beautiful hand made seat and custom solid mig welded tail hoop. Needs new 4-1 exhaust. This was next on the list, the pipes on here were damaged a bit so I added flex pipe to connect. Wrapped and works, but could use an upgrade to complete this badass. This bike is so close to done. Finish it up, I need to sell it. Bike is AS IS. Has 2nd same model chrome front fender in better,VG condition, Looks sharp, included. I will upload a video to Youtube soon and do a complete walk around. PAYPAL, CASH or BANK CHECK ONLY.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Earlier this month, Honda unveiled a new CBR300R model at the CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China. The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
