I have a 1982 Honda FT 500 Ascot with 12,xxx original miles up for saleAside from the plastics being a little rough the bike is in attractive condition and was my daily driver around the little town I live in untell about a month agow the only thing it needs to be 100% rideable is rear shocks there $250 on-line It has a brand new battery, the tires are in terrific shape I just did a oil change less than 100 mis ago and a valve adjustment was done as well.It could probably use a new chain soon and the headlamp fuse is pulled do to over wattage headlamp draining the battery (need to install on/off switch it's better than having a candle for a light)There are some little quarks about the bike that you would need to get familiar with but that's to be expected with a bike of this age. Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Honda Announces New 125cc Scooter Engine with Idle Stop

Honda announced it is developing a new 125cc scooter engine with an idle stop system promising 25% better fuel economy than existing engines. The announcement comes alongside the announcement of a new 700cc engine which will be introduced with the Honda Integra scooter. The new engine will be introduced in a variety of scooter models around the world in 2012.
