Honda Other tech info
Honda Other description
1981 Honda CM400C (Custom) with 23,242 miles.
Bike is not perfect, but is in good condition for its age. Engine runs, but does need tuning such as a carbs cleaning. No leaks that I can see. Some rust on gas tank as shown in pictures. Electric starter, battery, tachometer, brakes, and clutch work quite well. Problems: Horn, headlight and taillights are not working. Is missing right side (battery) cover. Included (unassembled): Highway bar, sissy bar, tail lights/license plate holder, new LED headlight, LED turn signals, rear fender, back rest, and new oil filter. Reason for selling: I no longer have the time to service or ride this motorcycle and would like it to find a new owner. I have the title in hand. This motorcycle is being sold as is. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I will help as best as possible. |

Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
