Carbs rebuilt and cleaned out Valves adjusted, New Battery, Registration till 2013! All cables have been cleaned and lubed carbs tuned and start one or 2 kicks when cold. one kick when warm. Shifts attractive rides smooth. It has just been cleaned up no painting to hide anything so you can see all the wear over 40 yrs. This bike is super clean & almost 100% complete missing side covers. Very fun to ride and I ride it to work almost every day for last month. Everything works lamps horn everything. It has a dent in the tank and scratches on the fenders and wear on the frame but nothing horrible fenders are aluminum & can be polished or repainted. Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

Brough Superior to Make Moto2 Debut at Silverstone

The Taylormade Brough Superior racebike will make its Moto2 racing debut at the British Grand Prix at the U.K.’s Silverstone circuit. Backed by insurance company Bennetts, the one-off entry will feature British Supersport racer Luke Mossey riding the Taylormade Carbon 2 racebike. Led by California-based but British-bred Paul Taylor and John Keogh, the Taylormade project was started to rethink the spark the impending relaunch of the Brough Superior brand as well as to explore new ways of designing prototype race machines.
