Honda Other description

For sale by owner, a 1962 Honda c100 moped. Title is in my name, licensed through 2014 in Minnesota. Not perfect but in very good driver condition with fresh paint (a few scratches here and there), new tires, and new seat. The bike is about 95 percent restored, I tried to keep as much original as I could. There is a crack in the white plastic leg guard near the engine but I have the piece. All rust was sanded and treated when repainted. The bike didn't come with the blinker option I just put them in to cover up the holes. I have the original carb, and seat off the bike that will go with it. I put a new one on. Very hard to find these early c100's. A nice driver quality, It never fails that someone has stopped and talked to me about it when I've had it around town. Runs and drives as it should.  The moped does smoke some, I asked an old mechanic at my local Honda dealer and he said it was common for these old Hondas to smoke a bit which is probably the rings which is an easy fix but he said to keep it as original as I could and burning a little oil wont hurt it so I left the engine alone. There are replacement rings for the piston available really cheap and its not a hard job,I just left it original. It could use an exhaust gasket where the two pipes come together. Please keep in mind that its not perfect, everything is there and I took the bike as far as I wanted to on the restoration to make it a nice driver.

Email me for any other questions any specific pictures you would like, or if you want to drive it or look at it.

I will not end the auction early, the top bid will get the bike so bid to win, this is a no reserve auction. I will not stop the auction early like some do on ebay because they are not getting enough money for the bike, it is being sold to the top bidder so I can free up some money to start on a new project.

I pride myself in being as honest as I can be, I have 100% feedback.

Schwantz Ousted From CotA

Wed, 20 Mar 2013

CotA management obviously doesn’t fathom the depth of respect MotoGP fans have for Kevin Schwantz. It may be the newest and best racing venue in the U.S., but it seems as though CotA management is going out of its way to make motorcyclists dislike the place. Statement by Kevin Schwantz: “I have read several reports regarding my attendance at the MotoGP test last week in Austin.

WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
