i have a 2006 450r. motor is brand new from cases up with fourteen hours on it, 480 big bore kit from cyl works, hot rods crank, 12.1 weisco piston, stage two hot cam, kimble white titanium valves, full curtis sparks exhuast, a-c nerf bars and bumper, pro taper bars, new oil pump, timing chain, uni air filter, chain and sprokets, double bearing carrier, starter clutch. new front tires and rear douglas beadlocks. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.

Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
