Honda Magna description
I purchased this bike about 2yrs ago and has been great. I am getting ready to move next year and want to find a good home for the bike before winter comes. Rides well and super smooth. Purchased the bike pre-owned, I am not the 1st owner. Previous owner had the baffles taken out, very nice sound. Never been dropped while I have owned it. Here are a few maintenance items I had done. New front tire New fork seals Carbs were cleaned after I acquired the bike. Mileage may vary since I will ride it 1 or two more times before auction closes. More photos available upon request. Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America
Thu, 19 Apr 2012American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.
Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
