Honda Magna description

2001 Honda Magna VF750, 2001 Honda Magna VF750, I have a great condition 2001 Honda Magna VF750 that I am reluctantly putting up for sale. Recently I learned I will be having surgery that will prevent me from riding it much- along with having a 9 month old, unfortunately I won't be able to give this baby the love and attention that she deserves. I've priced the bike at what I think is a very fair price, but like anything I'm willing to compromise a little. I have owned this bike since 2004, given it routine oil changes and the like and always taken good care of it. It's always been garaged and I consistently washed it and kept it very clean. I believe I'm the 2nd owner of it. There are a few minor scratches/scuffs, but you won't see them unless I point them out to you. The biggest is a scratch on the left side of the tank, which I filled in with color matching OEM paint, but the clearcoat is missing, so it's slightly visible. There is a picture of it, and although it's difficult to see, it's there. Mechanically the thing is in fantastic shape. It starts immediately... and if you don't know much about this bike... it's a beast. I've raced many of my father's Harley's and beat ~$45k bikes with how fast it is... I recently had it in the shop for a tune-up, put new spark plugs on it and they checked/tightened the chain and every works perfectly. It has ridiculously low mileage (7,300) and it will easily go another 30-50k if you take care of it. I truly love this bike and hate to see it go. It has never been dropped or mishandled. This is a perfect bike for a semi-beginner all the way to an advanced person. The speed on it is phenomenal and it's a great cruiser bike... not to mention it looks awesome. One of the biggest mechanical upgrades that I did was the Dave Dodge Carburetor Jet upgrade. Essentially, the carb was taken apart and the jets were changed out to a Dave Dodge set which gave it a much smoother power band and made it a much quicker bike. Prior to the change the bike accelerated best at the low and high RPMs, and was sort of dead in the middle... now it accelerates at a very consistent rate and made the thing like a rocket. Also, the Vance & Hines pipes make this bike sound amazing. It can be loud or quiet depending on how you rev it, but they look fantastic and make it sound even better! Now for a list of all the upgrades: Dave Dodge Carb Rework (~$300) Corbin Leather Seat ($350) Kuryakin Grips ($75) Chrome Cobra Oil Plug ($30) Vance & Hines Pipes ($500) Kuryakin Side View Mirrors ($150) Jardine Forward Controls (Not installed - $450) Honda Service Manual ($45) New OEM Battery ($75) - Always tendered during the winter Hidden Garage Door opener (~$30) K&N Air Filter ($50) Leather Saddle Bags ($300) - Currently off the bike Windshield ($200) =~$2500 in upgrades $4,950.00 6122517275 $4,950.00 6122517275

2013 Honda CBR250R Gets Repsol Edition

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

American Honda announced a number of returning 2013 models with new color options but the most eye-catching of the new paint jobs is the Repsol-edition CBR250R. Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s and Dani Pedrosa‘s Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team. Completing the look are the Repsol-orange wheels.

2014 World Supersport – Phillip Island Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a  national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
