2014 Honda Interstate on 2040-motos
Honda Interstate tech info
Honda Interstate description
This wonderful 2014 Honda Interstate 1300 has only 4,237 miles on it with the the most important upgrades equipped being the intensely comfortable Mustang Touring Seat which you can ride on all day without any fatigue or discomfort, Vance & Hines exhaust which you can't fully appreciate the wonderful sound until you hear them, and Kuryakyn grips which make for a comfortable grip without numbing long rides (I have the original seat and exhaust that come with the bike). The bike comes equipped with a full size touring windshield, beach style handlebars , and two hard case saddlebags which have a very unique opening mechanism and completely waterproof if caught in a storm (the right side saddlebag has two marks which are shown in the pictures, the bike had them on there when I bought it from the dealership so I do now know how they were caused). The bike has a 4.5 gallon tank that can easily get close to 50mpg, of course depending on riding style. The Interstate’s 1312cc V-twin engine generates plenty of low-end torque for relaxed urban rides, but is big enough for multi-day trips on long highways or over mountain passes. Shaft final drive gives you a clean, crisp look on the street, but its maintenance reducing features are exactly what you want a thousand miles from home too. I have all the original paperwork and manuals which show I have been right on for the maintenance schedule. I absolutely love this bike and so will you.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
Honda Announces More New-Model Releases For 2012
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Lost in all the hoopla surrounding the new models being released at EICMA this week, Honda has announced details about a few more models in its 2012 lineup: the CB1000R, CBR250R, Silver Wing scooter and the Ruckus, along with the cutting-edge VFR1200F that receives an infusion of impressive new technology for 2012 (which we’ll highlight in a separate blog entry). All of which are returning models from 2011. Pricing is yet to be determined.
