Honda Gold Wing description

30th Anniversary Edition 2005 Honda Gold Wing GL 1800A -  41,799 Miles; Candy Black Cherry factory paint; 1832cc liquid cooled horizontally opposed six cylinder engine; 5-Speed Overdrive; electric reverse; Reliable Honda Shaft Final Drive; Keihin Programmed Fuel Injection; big 45mm Forks with Anti-Dive System; rear Pro Arm single-sided swingarm with Pro-Link single shock with computer controlled spring preload adjustment with two memory presets; two rear stereo speakers. This bike is in very good condition, never been owned by anyone but me, and like most Goldwings, it was ridden conservatively by one adult rider. I also added the following onto this bike: a 12-volt outlet in left fairing pocket; and two spotlights/fog lights in the front. When purchasing this bike, I will also include two Cherry Black Goldwing helmets in sizes L and XL (shown in the picture), and the bike title is clear. I love this bike but there is not enough parking space in my garage. I am located in Flushing and the buyer is responsible of pickup. Cash only.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

Wed, 09 Jul 2014

Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a  national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
