Honda Gold Wing description

1995 Honda Gold Wing 1500, 1995 Gold Wing SE 20 Year Anniversary Edition LOW MILEAGE - GREAT SHAPE - 1500 cc - Green - 30k miles - Stabilizer wheels for standing up, parking, backing up, with electric control - Reverse - Extended foot rests - Passenger arm rests - Integrated intercom system - Adjustable driver backrest - AM/FM radio / Cassette - CB radio - Trailer hitch - Cruise control - 5 helmets (two with intercom) - Tall windshield (height adjustable) This is a beautiful Gold Wing in great shape with low mileage (30,000), and has a $4,000 after-factory stabilizer wheels add-on which is marvelous for moving the bike around in the garage, backing up, and getting passengers on and off the bike. It drives like a car in slow speeds with the stabilizers down. The stabilizers are easily controlled with hands on the hand grips by two electric control buttons. Most large bike accidents occur in the garage, or backing up - that will never happen with this bike. The stabilizers make this a great family bike adding stability for kids climbing on and off of the passenger seat. Also, they provide remarkable assistance for Gold Wing enthusiasts with short legs as the driving and stopping can be accomplished without feet touching the pavement. With the stabilizer wheels up, handles like any other two-wheeled Gold Wing - smooth and quiet and a real thrill! $6,900.00 8005843596

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.

2023 Honda CL500 First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Street scrambler joins Honda's 500 family Honda is adding a new model to its 500 platform, introducing a retro-inspired CL500 street scrambler. The new CL brings back a nameplate Honda used in the ’60s and ’70s for lightweight off-road capable motorcycles. The modern interpretation draws on that heritage with the upswept muffler with stainless steel heat shield, round tank with tank pads, and gaitered forks.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.
