Honda Gold Wing description

I have owned this bike for 20 years, i would add a couple accessories every year until i reached a point were there was not much else left to add. I have all the factory original components that came off the bike, i also have goldwing riding jackets, cover, extra windshield, etc. This bike has been trouble free since i have owned it but i do not have the time to ride because of growth in my business and family time with my kids, i do not want to sell the bike but it is hard on it mechanically to let it sit. I think this bike would make a great unit for a trike conversion. Please call me with questions about condition or accessories, its a superclean well taken care of machine. Thank You  573-248-4300

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Honda Reports Q1 2012-2013 Results

Tue, 31 Jul 2012

Honda reports a 12.5% increase in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2012. The quarter represents a return to form following last year’s opening quarter which faced the financial fallout from last March’s earthquakes and tsunami in Japan. The difference is most apparent when looking at the company’s bottom line.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
