Bike is in very good shape for it's age. It has the usual wear and scratches of a bike it's age. Also, the gear indicator on the display is slightly off, but does not affect the bikes running. Runs very good and I would not be afraid to ride it anywhere. Bike is sold as is. I will deliver the bike with in 50 miles, otherwise the buyer is responsible for pick up or setting up shipping. $500.00 non refundable deposit is due with in 24 hours of auction close. Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.
Honda is recalling over 20,000 Shadows in the US
Fri, 29 Jan 2016Honda is recalling 22,142 motorcycles from shipments produced between 2010 and 2016. The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness. Dealers promise to move the wire to another location and replace the sensor free of charge.
