Honda Gold Wing description

1981 GOLDWING  GL 1100  Black,  32,000 miles, well maintained. 

Will cruise easily at at 65 to 75 and still have room to throttle up to 80 or 90 to pass. 

Radio, volt meter, upgraded brake and clutch levers.  The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, new fuel filter. 

New timing belts, carbs are overhauled, new spark plug and battery. The clutch and brakes are perfect.  

The compression is good on all cylinders above 155. 

A few cosmetic upgrades:  the lower fairing fins, larger driver pegs,a headlight hood, and highway pegs.  Nice Ride!!

Spanish oil company and noted motorcycle racing sponsor Repsol recently gathered its cadre of riders from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and the Spanish CEV championship for a special race – on electric minimotos. Honda MotoGP riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa were joined by Moto2 racer Marc Marquez, his brother Alex Marquez and his fellow Moto3 racers Miguel Oliveira and Alex Rins and CEV racer Maria Herrera in the minimoto race. Hijinks ensued as racers grappled for position in the low-speed race.

Retro-Styled Dual Sport Revealed in Honda Patent Application

A newly-published patent application reveals Honda is working on a retro-styled dual sport. The application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reveals a streetbike with round headlight and mirrors but with hand guards, wire spokes and a high-rising exhaust suggesting some off-road capability.
