Honda CRF description

2014 Honda CRF50F, Brand New! - Get Started In The Right Gear. There’s a good reason Honda’s CRF50F is probably the world’s most popular beginner bike. A whole bunch of great reasons, actually. First, its bulletproof engine develops the kind of smooth, easy-to-use power first-timers really need. Its three-speed transmission with automatic clutch is newbie-friendly, and its tough suspension stands up to the use (and abuse!) of first-time riders. The CRF50F has features like an adjustable throttle limiter so you can tailor the power to your rider’s skills. That kind of thoughtful engineering, long-term overall quality and a whole lot more are what make the CRF50F a Honda. Important Safety Information Parents need to consider their youngster’s age, size, ability and maturity before allowing them to ride. Designed exclusively for off-road operator-only use. Always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing whenever you ride. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.

Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
