This is the second year for the cr80 and the last year for the honda elsinor.I started this restore with a nice low hour bike. About the only thing I did not touch was the frame and transmission on the bike. Here is a list of some of the stuff I replaced or restored on the bike. New tires and tubes,plastic,chain and sprockets,slides and rollers,air cleaner,carb rebuilt,all new top end including bore,piston and rings and wrist pin bearing. The top end has had less than two gallons of gas run through it and it was broke in wright. The tank was professionally restored. Seat was recovered by a local upholstery shop. All new decals. The expansion chamber and muffler are perfect. I rode this bike around at mid Ohio vintage motorcycle days and there were thousands of bikes there and I never seen another one of these. The bike turned a lot of heads. The bike runs and idles and rides excellent, it still has the original bars and grips on the bike. I have a low reserve on the bike. I require 100.00 pay-pal within 24 hours after the auction closes and the rest cash when you pick up the bike.There is no title so you will get a bill of sale. Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?
Fri, 17 Jul 2009It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.
Stoner Back on Top on Day 2 of MotoGP Test in Sepang
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Casey Stoner made his return to the track after missing the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Sepang and showed everyone why he deserved the #1 plate. After skipping the first day of the test due to back pain, Stoner was back on the Repsol Honda RC213V and set the top lap time of all riders. Stoner rode 29 laps and set the pace with a lap time of 2:00.895, 0.157 seconds faster than Ben Spies and 0.173 seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo.

It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
