Honda CR description

Up for sale is my 2000 Honda CR250. This bike is basically new. Every single bearing and seal is new. This was a winter project. The bike was completely torn down to every single piece and was cleaned, or powder coated, or painted. The list of what's not new is shorter than what is new. I'll lis the original parts and when that list ends everything else has been upgraded. The frame, swingarm, rear shock, front forks, calipers (front and rear), engine cases, and transmission are stock components (powder coated). The front forks and rear shock are Race Tech, engine cylinder is a Millenium Technologies Cylinder with a ported cylinder and power valve, Wiseco Pro Forged Piston, and Wiseco Hot Rods assembly. Entire engine was rebuilt down to every bearing and seal. Excel Rims (Red Hubs, Black Spokes and rims) with NEW michelin tires. New chain, new front and rear sprockets, Galfer wave rotors front and rear, ASV levers, Seet Gripper seat, new radiators, new twin air filter assembly, renthal hi bars, plastics are almost new, rode once on them before winter. It's a long list of upgrades and new items. Engine has literally 30 minutes on it after rebuild to let it idle to break in the piston/rings. I rode down the street once to ensure proper trans shifting. Has not seen dirt since the new build. Bike is as clean as new. Ships to US ONLT!!! Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will take the bike to the nearest shipping hub at no charge. Full payment due within three days of auction unless other arrangements are made with me. If more pictures and details are needed please send me a message and I can provide them.

Honda Reports Q1 2014-2015 Sales Results

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. But then you remember that 2.0% still represents an additional 83,000 motorcycles (including ATVs), such is the scale involved in a company like Honda.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
