Honda CL description

My son bought this about a year ago, fixed a lot of things, then moved and cannot take it with him. So, I get to sell it for him. He rebuilt the top end (new rings, valves, guides, gaskets, etc) put new tires and tubes on it, and then moved. It starts right up, runs good, but it sounds like the left carb needs adjusting or rejetting or something. I also doubt the mileage is accurate. It looks like everything is stock and all there, but I am no expert on these old bikes. Frame looks straight, lights work. I have not cleaned it or polished or waxed it, so the pics are accurate as to the condition. Would need very little to make a nice small around town cruiser. Contact me for any further needed info. Is also for sale locally.

Drool-worthy new trials bike

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

THIS is the new Montesa Cota 4RT260 Factory, a sort of BMW HP4 of the trials world. Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.

Honda EV-neo Electric Scooter to Begin European Trial

Wed, 15 Jun 2011

Honda announced it will begin a trial program for its EV-neo electric scooter in Barcelona, Spain. Already available in Japan under a lease sale program, the Honda EV-neo is designed to be a commercial delivery vehicle, with performance said to be on par with an under 50cc scooter. The electric scooter will make its European debut as Honda is providing Barcelona City Council with 18 EV-neo scooters at the beginning of July for a one-year trial.

2012 Honda VFR1200F Returns With Some New Features

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

When Honda first introduced the VFR1200F late in 2009, Editor Duke was an instant believer in the machine’s capabilities. It blurred the line between sportbike and tourer, and the addition of a true dual-clutch transmission that actually works was truly a surprise. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.
