Honda CBR description

Experts agree that the Honda CBR600F4i is a top used sport bike. The 2006 models in particular with their powerful four cylinder engines, lightweight aluminium alloy frames and reliable electronic fuel injection are the very best of the best. If you are looking for a great sportbike you found it here!

This freshly serviced CBR600F4i is plenty fast. Beyond high revs and raw speed this bike delivers confidence inspiring handling with safe and sure stopping power. The CBR600F4i is one sportbike you won't soon outgrow. Expert or novice you will enjoy riding it for years to come. Best of all it's a Honda which means you can count on impressive performance,  precision engineering, unsurpassed build quality and bullet-proof reliability for the life of your bike. The CBR600F4i is a really smart choice!

The bike has only 16,865 miles on it. Check with the online owners' forums and you will learn that with just basic care the CBR600F4i can go for over 100,000 miles! Even when ridden hard and put up wet these bikes will go 50,000 miles or more. Buy Now and you can enjoy thousands of miles of exhilarating riding for years to come at a fraction of the cost of a new bike. Being a 600 means you also save big on insurance! And when it's time to sell or trade-up you will get more money for the Honda CBR600F4i than most other sportbikes.

This bike has been adult owned. It has recent complete new clutch, chain, sprockets, brakes, tires, spark plugs, filters and all fluids. It has never been abused, neglected or left to sit full of stale gas, acidic dirty oil or watery hydraulic fluid. The Blue/Black OEM bodywork was carefully removed to be cleaned and polished inside and out and all underlying components were inspected, cleaned and serviced to assure complete reliability and outstanding performance! The bike starts, runs, handles and stops like new. Fly-in and ride ANYWHERE. Hey, the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains are only an hour away and Fall riding in Virginia is outstanding.

Of course being seven years old the bike is not perfect. Please see the supersize pictures. As you can see it has a few scrapes and scuffs most notable being the right side of the lower fairing with scratches that extend through the paint into the plastic but no cracks or missing pieces. The tank has a scratch on top near fuel filler. Of course $%#$! Otherwise the OEM bodywork is in very good condition. There was a small crack in the front fairing up near the mirror that has been previously repaired. Luckily most of the scratches are limited to one panel (Right lower) so you can probably locate a good used or new OEM panel and avoid expense/hassle of painting.  Personally, I would be proud to ride this bike as-is. But if you want it perfect Buy Now and I can arrange repainting or install of complete new OEM or aftermarket bodywork at your additional cost.

The bike is for sale locally and may be sold at any time. The Buy Now price of $3695 is in line with recent sales of comparable 2006 CBR600F4i. You may contact me at anytime during the auction to elect to Buy Now. The reserve price is not cheap but very fair given the high resale value of the 2006 CBR600f4i and the recent "no expense spared" service.

The motorcycle is located in Richmond Virginia. Inspection at buyers expense and must be done prior to bidding. Sold as-is where-is. No warranty expressed or implied. Zero, low or negative feedback bidders may be disqualified. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be required within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment of balance required before pickup or shipment. Local bank drafts, cashiers checks or wired funds may be acceptable but must clear before the machine will be released. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will coordinate with your carrier to pick up. No post auction re-trading. ESnipe/automated bids may be disqualified.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
