2013 Honda CB500F, This Is One Hot Bike!2013 Honda CB500FMid-Size Sport. Maximum FunThe innovative CB500F expands riding enthusiasts options with a modern and sporty 471cc sportbike. This image-conscious offering not only carries a full load of attitude, it also delivers a gratifying level of performance and versatility. The CB500F has a classic riding position, a 30.9-inch seat height and plenty of room for a variety of riders. It s an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for anyone who appreciates a great middleweight motorcycle.Innovation and VersatilityThe CB500F features a brand-new engine and chassis. Like the machines that made Honda famous in the U.S., its two-cylinder parallel-twin layout provides a wide powerband and plenty of torque, while a counterbalance keeps things running smooth. In addition, the CB500F s neutral, classic seating position makes it a perfect fit for someone who wants a bike that can do it all, and do it all well.DOHC Parallel-Twin-Cylinder EngineHonda twins are famous for their versatility, and the new CB500F engine is one of our best ever. Using the same piston bore size as our CBR600RR sportbike, the parallel-twin engine offers accessible performance across all RPM ranges.Classic Riding PositionNot too laid back, not too aggressive, the CB500F s riding position, is one of the keys to its versatility. The CB500F offers a comfortable sport riding position that s maneuverable around town or out on the winding road. The lower seat height also makes it easier to get your feet firmly on the ground when stopped.Practicality Was Never So Much FunIts combination of low seat height, light weight, and rider-friendly engine make the CB500F a great choice for commuting, weekend rides, or just getting out and having fun.Unique StyleLess is more when it comes to the new CB500F. Featuring classic, clean, progressive style, the CB500F is a motorcycle that looks great while still providing incredible value and performance.

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Daytona Results

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
