Honda CB description

-Please read entire description for important information
Check out this video to hear the bike run:

This bike is in amazing condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. A friend of mine kept it in his garage for the last two years, and sold it to me to help get his business started. I only had to tinker with it a bit to get it going again, and now its ready to drive out of here!

The work on the bike is all very fresh, with no more than 100 miles on any of it. This includes:
-Rebuilt and bored from 900cc to 985cc with Wiseco K985 67.5mm pistons, rings, and pins
-New clutch basket and plates
-New exhaust with Vance and Hines 4-into-1
-New coils
-New chain and sprocket
-New tires
-Forks rebuilt
-Carburetor rebuild including cleaning, rejetting (for overbore), and tuning
-Repainted tank, forks, side covers, pretty much the whole thing

Between the new exhaust and overbore this bike is faster and more powerful than its counterparts, and rides smooth and easy. I would keep it but I already have another older project bike and don't need two hanging around.

-Buyer is responsible for local pickup at Fort Benning, Georgia.
-A pass to get on base can be acquired from the visitor's center outside of the main gate (the I-185 gate) and requires a valid drivers licence or ID for all occupants in the vehicle.
-Motorcycle runs great and may be driven after purchase, or you can trailer it if you want.

-Payment will be cash or money order* only. Please do not contact me about trades or any other method of payment.
-I have had requests for financing, but I am afraid that I cannot offer anything like that.
-A deposit** of $1000 will be required within 48 hours of auction close

-Contact me through ebay with your best offer or PM for questions.
-Do not ask me to email you directly or contact you in another method besides ebay's PM. I'll assume you're a spammer/scammer and just block you.
-No low-ballers, spammers, or scammers please. I'll just block your messages, so you'll just waste your own time.

-I have the receipts for all the work that my friend had done on the bike, over $4000 worth.
-The only way you can do a test ride is if you have taken the Army's motorcycle safety courses. You don't want to get caught riding on base without it.
-Title and bill of sale will be provided at time of purchase.
-I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time
*All money orders/cashiers checks/certified checks will be deposited and processed  with my bank before this bike will change hands
**All deposits will be non-refundable. Buyer must pay the remaining balance within 14 days or forfeit the full amount of the deposit.

I look forward to hearing from all serious buyers. Lets get this bike to your house today!

2015 Honda NM4 Coming to US in June for $10,999

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

Believe it or not, news sites hate April Fools Day. On any other day, it’s challenging enough to find and verify news from a variety of sources, but on this day, everyone seems to want to outdo one another with fake press releases and everything needs to be checked in triplicate to root out what’s real and what is a prank. Take American Honda‘s announcement today, April 1, that it would bring the new Honda NM4 to the U.S.

Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon

Fri, 20 Jan 2012

If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
