I'm selling my rare 1976 Honda CB750A Hondamatic. It is mechanically sound and runs well. I bought it last year from a friend who no longer rides. The odometer says 29,900 miles but it was not working when I bought it so I have no idea of the original miles. The speedometer works fine now. The carbs have been cleaned recently, has new tires and tubes, new AGM battery, rebuilt master cylinder, new air cleaner, new mirrors, fresh oil and filter. It has been a daily rider since spring arrived..
Everything left to do on the bike is cosmetic like cleaning, removing surface corrosion on the forks and cleaning several years of dirt in hard to get places. The paint is all there but shows it's age. The seat pan and cushion is good but the left front side has a tear, repaired with tape that looks ok for me. A replacement cover is advertised on eBay for $79. The bike starts and runs fine and is a blast to ride. Just put it in low or drive and go. Everything on the bike works, signals, horn, fuel gauge, etc.The things that are frequently missing are there like the hard to find side covers and original air box. I'm only selling it because I have two other bikes and am out of room. I'll try to add more pictures later or upon request. The bag attached to the rear is NOT included (it belongs to my son). 2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R
Wed, 14 Nov 2012As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.

His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
