1973 Honda CB750 Trike Tryke

Very cool old chopper.  Custom build.  The body is all steel.  Has a Harley-Davidson servi-car rear end.  Cragar Mag Wheels, Girder Front end with invader 19" front wheel.  Tank is molded into the frame and has the Steve Miller Band logo painted on it.  Super old original paint.  The rear section has a passenger seat as well as a place to put you beer on the back!  The exhaust pipes are hand made, they are square all the way back then they turn into flames!  The cylinder head has decorative "Blade" fins welded to them.  The controls are all custom made.  The Mirror and shifter are custom made.  So many little details that set this Trike apart from the rest.  It runs, drives and stops. Charging system and starter work.  Don't miss out on the chance to own something super cool and different.  You definitely will get all sorts of looks and thumbs up when cruising this thing.  Bid early and often.  No Reserve.  I had the trike up on ebay early in the summer.  winning bidder changes his mind.  Gonna try again.  Good-Luck!  Any question please ask.   I can provide a video of it running and riding if need be.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

Hero Moto Unveils Leap Hybrid Scooter Concept, Claims 235 MPG

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

Indian manufacturer and former Honda partner Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a new hybrid scooter prototype at the 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Hero Leap runs on a series hybrid powertrain with the battery-powered electric motor providing most of the power and the gasoline engine acting as a range extender, charging the battery and supplying power when the battery runs low. Hero claims fuel economy of up to 100 km/l, which translates to an eye-popping 235 mpg.

2013 Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport Officially Announced for US

Tue, 29 May 2012

As expected, Honda has officially announced it will introduce its new CRF250L to the U.S., offering it as a 2013 model for $4,499. The 2013 Honda CRF250L is powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single inherited from the CBR250R, so it carries the same low-friction innovations such as the roller rocker arm design. Like the CBR, the CRF250L is produced in Thailand, helping keep costs low.
