Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over
Thu, 23 Aug 2012Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. Fri, 18 Oct 2013Specifications for the 2014 Honda CBR300R have surfaced from CIMAMotor in Chongqing, China, where the new small-displacement sportsbike made its debut. Join the CBR 300 Forum According to the spec sheet, will be powered by a fuel-injected 286cc single-cylinder engine, with a bore of 76mm and 63mm stroke. Based on this, we surmise the engine is indeed based on the CBR250R’s engine which has a similar 76mm bore, but with a 55mm stroke.
