Honda CB description

Overall clean classic Honda. 1973 CB450

Has period correct Jardine Exhaust that sounds fantastic. Riser handlebars likely installed when bike was brand new.

Bike runs, starts, drives, stops with the rear brake just fine. Electric start works, kicker works, lights and blinkers work. New battery.

Low miles.. 8,7xx

Seat in outstanding shape, supple vinyl with no rips/tears.

Tank and front brake need attention. Front brake doesn't return properly, tank has some rust on the top, some of the rust spots weep gas.

Sold as is. Clear WI title.

Located in Appleton WI.

Local pick-up preferred. I am flexible with when it would be picked up (within reason) and would store indoors until pick up. Auction must be paid in full within 7 days. Willing to work with your transport company if needed.

I have the ability to assist with transport to areas in and around WI. Anywhere in Wisconsin, Chicago metro, Indy metro, Minneapolis metro, Quad Cities, Des Moines, and most places in between for around $60. Bike must be paid in full prior to transport (including transport fees). If this is something you might need please contact me and I will let you know if I can get the bike there. You MUST have the ability to assist in delivery, which would require moving the bike down a trailer ramp from a full size semi trailer.  Liability of bike during delivery would be buyers (consignee).

Mackenzie Tricker Looks To Pad WMX Points Lead At Glen Helen Raceway Sunday

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR1000RR First Impressions – Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

It may not have a fancy electronics suite like many of its rivals, but the Honda CBR1000RR has long been one of our favorite literbikes due to its light and nimble handling combined with strong, accessible torque. For 2014, Honda is upping the ante with the CBR1000RR SP edition. No, it still doesn’t have any electronic aids, but it does have a bevy of top shelf suspension components.

Pedrosa, Marquez, Bradl Talk About Racing, Motorcycles, And Each Other

In order to use footage from a Dorna-sanctioned MotoGP test session — say, for marketing or promotional reasons — a team must receive approval from Dorna. The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.
