I am the second owner and since I have changed many parts.
- Carbs have been replaced for two almost new ones - Tires Replaced - Handlebar changed - Main cables changed - New Battery - Interstate- - Grips and Mirrors changed The motorcycle tank has a minor dent really unnoticeable, Othe than that, a few things need to be cleaned or re chromed. The bike has on a total of original 8k+ miles and really a one of a kind given the age. This bike has always been garaged and never dropped. Clear title, nothing wrong with it just moving out of town and need to sell my toys. I am an honest seller, check my feedback. The bike is sold as is no returns and no guarantees. But bid with confidence and ask questions, I will answer all of them as best as I can. I am taking the bike each day for short rides so the mileage will be a little off but I want to run the bike daily while it sells. The bike is located in Douglasville, GA (15 miles outside Atlanta) and also being sold locally so could end this auction earlier. The bike has only one set of keys. Initial Paypal deposit of $500 required at end of auction. Any sort of payment besides cash needs to be cleared prior releasing the bike. Thanks and good luck. 2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.
