Honda CB description

This is my 1970 honda cb750 cafe racer. (It was bought in 1971 and that is what is on the title) Her name is Natasha. I started by stripping her down to the frame and sand blasting the frame, then painted. The motor was re-built with all new gaskets and painted, Carbs were re-built and synced, The tank is from a 74 super sport and the tail is hand made custom fiberglass (one of a kind) I had to replace the rims with new spokes and the tires are brand new. Also the front brake caliper and master cylinder were re-built and the brake lines are new. all of the electric system is rewired and move to the tail with a new gel cell battery. The oil bag is made from an oxygen tank and painted to look like a N.O.S. tank complete with pressure gauge. She runs, idles, and pulls hard. I took her to bike week in Daytona Beach twice and it was hard not to smile at all the attention she was getting. I never bothered to replace the electric starter because it kick starts so easy (and I think it's much cooler). The gas tank and the tail is painted in flat black primer. This is not a "trailer queen" bike. It is a daily driver. The title is clean.

2013 AMA Supercross Salt Lake City Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Ryan Villopoto demonstrated once again he is a the top of his sport, clinching his third-consecutive AMA Supercross championship. Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Video: Honda Crossrunner v mountain pass

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

This road (the one in the video) was a previously unseen, super-steep mountain pass which needed first gear for the hairpins and second between them with an occasional grab at third on the quicker sections. It was the sort of road that pumps up your forearms and makes you crane your neck to see what's coming next (mainly cyclists). The surface was rubbish.
