Hodaka Wombat description

This is a $.99 no reserve auction for a 1977 Hodaka Wombat Model No. 03 with title. Street legal. Vintage model. These motorcycles were only around from 1960s-1970s. They were designed in Athena, OR and made in Japan.
Original paint, original stickers and badging, surface rust, no dings, dents, or tears. Still has the original tool kit with tools. Comes with The original manual. This bike was in a barn since the late 70's. The bike is all original except for the akront front wheel and the kickstand. I cleaned the carb, put a new filter on,and flushed the fluid. The bike runs well. The condition its in for not being restored is really great. I havent seen another 03 wombat with such great patina that runs with a title. This would make a great motorcycle to ride around as is or to restore. The speedometer is accurate. I've ridden this motorcycle up to 45 mph and it will go faster.

Needs a new kick stand. The front brake is not working but wont take much to make it work. It's missing the rear brake switch and the high low beam switch.
The bike is in Portland. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Although, for an additional fee I can deliver the bike anywhere on the west coast including the major ports. For any more information please feel free to give me a call 503-567-9215. My name is Ben.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
