1950 Panhead Fl, matching belly numbers, HD inline springer extended, 3inch open belt primary, S&S Super E with a thunder jet, STD heads, HD 4spd Tranny, Magneto Ignition.  The bike is setup suicide (no front brake).  Has a rear disc.  Hate to see it go, but don't think I have a choice at this point.  It is a raw chopper, runs awesome, starts easy, even keeled going down the road.  Clean OR title, matches the motor.  Contact me about a vid I have of start up.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
