Harley-Davidson Touring description
Hello, I am selling my 2011 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic ( model FLHTCU ). I am the 2nd owner and all service records since mile one are found with Baltimore Harley Davidson, in Rosedale, Md. There are currently 15700 mis on this bike, the 15K service was just done at Baltimore Harley 800 mis ago with all synthetic fluids ( at a cost of $700 ). This bike needs absolutely nothing, it is a great bike, I just rode it today. It is always covered in a heated garage, and has never been in the rain since I owned it (since around 10K miles). The color is MERLOT SUNGLO and BLACK ( offered only in this 2011 yr). There are no scratches or dents, this bike has never been crashed, rashed or thrashed. The following tasteful upgrades have been performed: Progressive rear shocks, and Progressive front suspension, installed by Baltimore Harley. (big difference in handling !). Chrome accent package around gauges. 3 windshields 8", 12", and 15" (15" by Cee Bailey). Luggage rack delete strips (rack is included), Short dual antennas, (also both Harley parts). L.E.D. Headlamp conversion and dual L.E.D. spotlight conversion, and rear L.E.D. tail light - all Harley parts. Some V-Logo chrome trim parts. Harley Oil Cooler installed this summer. All maintenance done by Harley. About 18 mons of Harley Warranty left IS transferrable to the new owner, which covers all mechanical parts ( no tires, brakes, etc.). New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.

In a time before the economic meltdown, motorcycle sales, especially for Harley-Davidson, were booming. After the collapse, sales have only started to pick up again within the past two years (at nowhere near pre-2008 levels, however).
