One year limited color of Daytona Blue Pearl, pictures do it no justice! **There are five years left on the seven year Harley Davidson service plan, which WILL be transferred to the new owner** As you can see in the pictures this is well below the suggested retail price! This bike has always been stored indoors under a cover, on a battery tender. I have two small children, and we are building a new home, I have no time to ride! This is a MUST sell. Bike is PERFECT! no stone chips or scratches. Has 4" Rinehart slip ons, docking station with detachable HD backrest, cover, battery tender, storage/service stand with drain pan, and motorcycle jack. Can include HD riding coat and helmets. Also have a off brand tour pack that is not painted nor does it have mounting hardware. Budding Artist and MDA Ambassador Create Motorcycle Painting to Benefit MDA
Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
