Up for auction here is a nice 2013 Harley Road King that is ready to ride anywhere in style! With the 103 c.i. V-Twin motor and 6 speed transmission, and dealer-added cruise control, this bike is ready for the open road. The original owner of this bike traded it to me on a car deal. He was an older gentleman that was very meticulous about this bike, and had all service work done at his Harley dealer at the recommended service intervals. He also had the dealer add factory cruise control . Other than the cruise control and detachable docking kit for backrests or tour pacs, this bike is pretty stock.
Mechanically, everything works as designed. No issues or problems of any kind. New gel battery installed last month. Cosmetically, this bike is very nice . The only wear on the bike is to the factory grips. Other than that, everything is very nice. No dings or dents to the sheetmetal, all chrome is nice and bright with no corrosion, paint is nice, etc. Check out the pics, this is a nice bike. No issues. Check my feedback, I tell it like it is. Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350
Tue, 29 Nov 2011The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
