This is a mint-condition, low milage example of a FLTRX Custom, with the coveted 103 power package (103 CI engine, ABS, Cruise Control). Low reserve. One owner, Harley maintained, NEVER dropped or tipped. Aside from one, small, paint ding on front fairing and a little bit of boot rash on timer cover, there are no other cosmetic issues anywhere. Always garaged.
There are a few customizations (mostly electrical): 1) All 6 gauges have been customized with red LEDs. Tach and Speedo have white LEDs on their needles. It's really sharp. 2) 12" light smoke WindVest windshield 3) Iron Aces iPhone 4 mount 4) powered antenna added under the front fairing 5) stock rear antenna removed and replaced with a flex whip, and tucked under rear fender 6) iPhone charger (and audio outs) hardwired into back of radio 7) rear brake lights changed to animated, flashing LEDs (8 different user-selectable patterns) 8) Kuryakan ISO grips (black chrome) 9) Dyna handlebar (black) 10) stock seat foam scooped and replaced with memory foam and gel by Mean City Cycles. Recovered with faux ostrich (black). Buyer agrees to arrange and pay for pickup or transport from Scottsdale, AZ. Scammers and low-ballers look elsewhere. Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
