For Sale: 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide classic This bike has the heavy frame and a 6 speed tranny. Excellent condition, runs great, everything works good, beautiful Hot Red Sunglo paint, 21,900 miles and runs like new. I picked this bike up with cosmetic damage and replaced the parts NO FRAME DAMAGE !! I put around 500 miles on this bike and it runs and drives perfect. All the wiring for a tour pack is tucked under the seat for someone that wants to put a new tour pack back on... I do have the tour pack mount that will go with the bike. If someone wants to save a few thousand dollars on a beautiful touring /sporty looking Harley and if you don't mind an R on the title. There are rumors that you cannot get insurance on a reconstructed vehicle ....This is false , you can get full coverage on this or any r title vehicle. To get an R title it has to go through a enhanced inspection before an R title is issued. It is inspected fully and insurance will pay full value. Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.
