This pacific pearl blue and black softail is in pristine shape always maintained by a Harley mechanic on my premises to a t fluids done religiously new tires brake pads and bearings in last year and it just needed tired but having it apart I did it all fresh tune up and battery this season also there is one mark on the whole bike there is a spot on the back side of the front fender where the clutch cable scuffed the paint and the hi way bar met the fender during transport it is shown in the last photo this bike is available for inspection before you bid if you wish Good Luck I have also owned this bike for six years and got it with only two thousand miles.I reserve the right to end auction early as bike is also for sale locally

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
