HD SE rods and wheels, heads ported and polished with oversize valves, heavier valve springs, 57mm throttle body, bigger injectors, gear drive oil pump and cam, Thunder Header exhaust 2-into-1 (right side and dummy left), HD 5-speed, quick connect windshield and back rest. Many chrome extras. Custom pearl white paint. New Metzeler ME888 tires. 13,820 miles on bike. (Motor was built at 10,000 miles.) Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
