With two college tuitions coming up soon, it is with regret I’m selling my 2004 Harley Davidson FLHRS Road King Custom in Vivid Black. This bike is not fuel injected as I preferred the sound and feel of a carburetor, and this one sounds great! This bike has never been down and has been garaged and covered since I purchased it June 20, 2010 pre-owned from our local Harley Davidson dealer. After purchase i put a tall boy seat on it and swapped the handlebars to beach bars. I have the original bars and Sundowner seat that goes with the bike. When I purchased it, the bike had 21,085 miles on it. I have seldom ridden it, mostly around the neighborhood and local country side and only added 783 miles for a total of 21,868. This bike has Vance and Hines pipes and tons of upgrades including a security system. The only mark on the bike is on the front fender where my son rubbed the top layer of gloss off with his bicycle when he was little. I think it could be easily buffed or repaired by someone with the skills or at the local Harley dealer. This beauty deserves to be ridden and enjoyed. I’m selling this as is with no warranty expressed or implied and I will not ship the bike. Local pickup only. Cashier check only or full payment via PayPal. 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Champion Chris Fillmore
Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.
Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy
Wed, 16 Oct 2013In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.
