Harley-Davidson Touring description

2002 Harley Ultra Classic. Great condition, unmolested motor and exhaust. This bike was owned by an older gentleman that kept it in storage as well as all the maint done. I have the original owners manual with dates and mileages of services. The bike has always had synthetic fluids. Has extras in the form of chrome and stereo. Stereo is VERY loud. Updated with Bluetooth plug and play head unit. Handlebar controls still work! Upgraded speakers with tweeter bar as well. Additional led lights on rear that blink when brake is applied. I just rode over 2000 miles on this bike to Gettysburg Pa and back. She is ready for the road.

Has a small scratch spot on the back of the right side bag.

Bike is located in Tupelo MS
Shipping can be arranged but bike will be paid before it touches a trailer.  Non Refundable Deposit of $500 due at the end of the auction and remainder before pickup.  Buyer has 14 days to schedule pickup.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
