PLEASE READ ENTIRE AUCTION DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO BIDDING You are considering a 1978 APST Florida titled Shovelhead Harley Davidson.,,, A BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC RIDE It has been titled as a special construction somewhere in it's past- but make no mistake- it is all Harley Davidson. I do not know the mileage but it does not smoke at all when started- and runs strong-the mileage reads 1,629. The motor does not leak The bike receives the compliments wherever I ride. THE TITLE IS CLEAN. The bike runs with great compression- no leaks that I can see- drives -shifts well. It has bright shiny chrome with some minimal chrome wheel surface rust. All lights work including high low beams- running lights- rare factory stock light bumper set up. 4 speed tranny- Please note-Currently rear brake only- kick start. The front hand brake assembly is on the bike = just not connected. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
