Click pictures to enlarge - Beautiful stock bike with only 525 actual miles on it. I am selling it for a family member who has moved away and can no longer ride. The following items were installed after purchasing the bike new: long stem HD mirrors (the stock short ones limit your rear view), a heavy built leather fork bag, Battery Tender pigtail, HD auxiliary rear fender mount LED tail / brake light.
The 12 month factory warranty expired June 2016 but an extended warranty is available from any dealer should you desire it. Just had new PA inspection done. The speedometer has a digital readout which can be toggled through RPM, Gear position, Time, Trip and odometer with the touch or a button on the handlebar. The bike has never been down or damaged in any way and is stored in a climate controlled area. It's is in absolute perfect ride ready show room condition. The HD custom paint is spectacular. It was a $900.00 option and was one of only 6 available in Pennsylvania. It has to be seen in person to truly appreciate. Please do NOT waste my time by making ridiculous low ball offers as they will be declined. You will not find this bike anywhere for less than this IF you can even find one in this color! Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
