2009 XR1200 bike has new paint just for a color change, it was orange. Has brand new tires only 60 miles on them. Vance and Hines Exhaust with Patriot Tuner. Fresh oils and plugs. Biltwell handlebars. LED headlight bulb and oil cooler cover. Bike is ready to ride no issues, owner does have a lien on title that can be cleared in about 2 days after sale is made. 2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
Champion Trikes Acquires Lehman Trikes
Thu, 28 Jun 2012Champion Trikes and sister company Champion Investments Inc. has assumed operations of Lehman Trikes, saving the company from closing. Trike conversion kit producer Lehman Trikes suspended its operations March 21 after failing the find investors.
