Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This 2009 Iron 883 Sportster is like new with very few miles. Additions to the bike include a detachable windshield, stage one screamin eagle air intake, Vance and Hines black out 2 into 1 exhaust, and a Harley Davidson race tuner. This is a great starter bike or for someone that is looking for a fun thrilling ride. The bike has been recently serviced and is ready to ride. I am the second owner of the bike, but I have put most of the miles on it. This is a fun sporty bike that is a blast to ride with plenty of power. The Vance and Hines exhaust sounds great, it has a low throaty rumble.

Would you pay £160,000 for this?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

Pretty it may be, but you wouldn't catch me spending £160,000 on this 1915 Harley-Davidson 11-F Twin that's coming up for sale at a Bonhams auction. It's allegedly one of the most sought-after Harleys and has buyers from around the world itching to splash out on it. Not literally, you'd hope.

Backflips on a Harley? [video]

Mon, 07 Dec 2009

In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
