This is for a highly modified Sportster Drag bike made for 1/8th mile races.
Bike is ready to race, no blown engine on this baby!

Lets start with whats done, starting from the Top of the Engine to the Bottom.
So The Rocker Boxes are off a buel, cast finish, not polished, not chromed, not painted.
The Rockers are Roller Rockers, 1.675 Ratio.
Cometic Gaskets.
Head Breather Rocker Boxes
Buell Lightning Heads
62cc Chambers that have been machined to 30 degree domes.
Valves are Stock Buell Lightning Size: 1.715" diameter intake valves, 1.480" diameter exhaust valves
Intake and Exhaust ports have been ported and then flowed.
They are NOT Polished.
Stock Color , Aluminum Raw.
Pistons are custom 30 degree dome JE Pistons
.010 over Stock size
Standard 883 Cylinders that have been bored to 1200
Pushrods are Andrews Chromoly Adjustable Pushrods
Lifters are Solid JIMS Lifters
Pushrod Tubes are from Zippers with Billet Aluminum Lifted Block for Conversion Pushrod Tubes
Camshafts are Feuling .580 Lift Reaper Cams
Pinion Gear has been converted to 2000 and newer Sportsters
Igntiion is a DYNA 2000i Single Fire Ignition by Ultima
Oil Pump is stock with basic gasket and seal rebuild

Stator, and Rotor have been deleted
Primary Chain adjuster shoe is still good

Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
