Up for auction is this outstanding very original 1968 XLCH.

  • Bike has always been well maintained, and keep in a climate controlled garage for the last 30 years by the 2nd owner, whom I purchased off of  
  • Very strong running bike, everything works as it should
  • Bike fires up on 1 to 2 kicks
  • Motor is very clean, untouched VIN pad
  • 24,000 Original Miles  
  • Was repainted in 1982 using the original "Jet Fire Orange" and with NOS decals
  • This bike is very correct

  • original speedo and tachometer work great!
  • original magneto (rebuilt this year)
  • original tillotson carburetor (rebuilt this year)

This bike would easily score 95points maybe better by AMCA Judges! XLCH's this correct are getting harder and harder to come by. This is one of the nicest ones around. In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?
