Harley-Davidson Museum Opens Exhibit Commemorating History Of Company’s Anniversary Celebrations

As 2013 marks Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, this year’s H-D lineup will have a special ode to the occasion, just like past anniversary models. To commemorate this event, the Harley-Davidson Museum is giving visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the design and planning process that supports its legendary anniversary celebrations in its latest exhibit, Designing a Celebration, opening Friday, Jan. 18.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.
