2009 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Chrome Edition with only 12,300 miles in excellent condition! We have bought another bike so this one needs to go. Glossy black with the factory chrome wheel upgrade. Bike is in excellent condition and completely ready to go. It has just been serviced with synthetic oil and the tires are good. It needs nothing but a rider. It has a Harley mustache engine guard, quick release windshield, quick release backrest with luggage rack, and a removable passenger seat. Powered by a fuel injected 96 cubic inch engine with American Custom Exhaust upgrade with the ECM download that goes along with the lower resistance exhaust. Sounds awesome and gets better fuel economy. No dents, dings, scratches. No issues... completely ready to ride!! You will not be disappointed in this bike when you see it. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
