2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train FXSTB, This 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train is painted Pewter Denim. I think it compliments the Blacked out Night Train features perfectly. A Corbin seat was installed by its previous owner. Most people really like these seats and like any premium product they are priced at premium! The fact that this bike already has one installed will make your wallet very happy. Harley-Davidson supplied the Screamin' Eagle muffler set. It sounds better than stock but is not too loud. In the rear you will find a blacked out and quick detachable padded passenger's back rest and luggage rack. These are very handy. I use mine a lot. The remainder of this FXSTB is stock. Its 96 C.I. counter balanced V-twin motor and 6 speed cruise drive transmission became a standard feature for these models in 2007. Fuel injection was also standard for this bike. I had to pay extra for FI on my 2001 FXSTB. Night Trains have a different riding position than the other Softails and that's one of the many reasons I like them. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
