2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy, LIKE NEW CONDITION WITH ONLY 4K MILES!!! - Low 4K Miles & Clean!!! Detachable Windshield, Passenger Floorboards... WE FATTENED IT UP QUITE A BIT LAST YEAR, AND IT CONTINUES TO ROLL AS THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP OF FUNKY CUSTOM. Its front fender shows off the broad 17-inch front wheel. Its custom skirted back fender sits above a 200-millimeter rear tire. The wheels are solid slabs of cast aluminum, ringed with 0.50-caliber, bullet-sized holes. Everything about this motorcycle commands space on the road. The seat is low and wide. The thick 96-cubic-inch helping of Harley-Davidson V-Twin engine is served up in chrome and black. There’s a shotgun exhaust. The Fat Boy is what it’s always been and more. One big-boned knockout.

Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

Wed, 27 Jul 2011Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
