Harley-Davidson Softail description

Selling My 2005 Harley Springer Custom Built Classic

Please read full description from top to bottom for full details on bike

First of this is a Classic Springer FLSTSI ,Fuel Injected ,5 Speed ,The bike currently has 13,883 miles on it ,Garage kept and ive been caught in the rain maybe 3 times ,I built the bike to resemble the old knucklehead police bikes ,that was my goal for the build ,Before I go any further please know that any and all the factory parts I still have ,and will be included in this auction ,I also have an extra seat and a fuel tank .

About the bikes custom stuff ,It is a stock motor ,stock trans, has dual vance and hines exhaust with fishtail tips, The rocker box covers are from xoctic and I had them sent off to be chromed ,no other engine work was done ,I installed black wheels with stainless spokes ,the tires are vintage tread type ,the seat is a custom mount through post type with a vintage 60ies police motorcycle seat ,I built a custom cover to cover up the factory computer ,It all comes off with 3 screws and the factory seat still works fine ,The bike has been lowered as much as I could get it to go ,I have had no problems turning or scrubbing (I do not ride fast ),The console is from a 2015 softail and is the cat eye style ,the bars are the wide knucklehead style bend so you look correct when riding ,I stripped all the signals so the bike has none up front and the ones in the rear are hidden ,The bike has a custom build foot clutch ,tank shifter that's solid as a rock ,I started to weld in an actual factory tank shifter (this is why I have a spare gas tank ) but changed my mind when I seen and rode on this system ,It took me like 10 mins to get used to and it works perfect and finds neutral easy .I aslo added a springer horn to get the look I was going after

Transformer bike

As you can see from the pics this bike can be made and used in many different forms within a matter of minutes with no tools ,Most of the reason for this is my wife likes to ride sometimes, but she will not go anywhere without a windshield ,backrest and bags ,So here is the info on those items ,First the bags are the semi hard type that not only lock onto the bike but they lock themselves ,The material is the old school springer type ,Solid leather with a hard backing and inside ,there is also a power outlet inside but I cut the lead as I never used it ,They clip on in seconds as does the factory Harley windshield  ,The rear jump seat has a couple of options ,You can use the factory jump seat alone or the clip on wide back seat with luggage rack ,Also you can use the factory seat or a deluxe seat (that's also included ) if you need a grab bar ,One more option is the knucklehead style luggage rack alone ,it installs with custom thumb screws and has chrome cap screws for when not in use ,I was planning on getting a set of original toss over saddlebags for that luggage rack .

Spare and Included parts

You will buy and you will get all the items in the pictures ,The factory wheels and tires have maybe 500 miles on them ,There is a crash bar in chrome ,the factory bars ,all the factory signals ,bolts ,console ,cables ,also the factory evo rocker box covers and a new set of gaskets ,Pretty much everything that came on the bike except the exhaust  ,I had Harley install the Vance and Hines  and seem to have forgot to to pickup my old ones and they tossed them ,You also get a factory Harley cover and a performance computer that I had no room for once I changed the seat ,And the spare fuel injected style correct fuel tank

I have done all the maintenance on the bike myself and it has always been done ,the battery is fairly new and is genuine Harley. The oil tank on the bike is factory and has some sort of peeling going on there (see pics) ,There are a few chips in the paint due to just normal use and what not ,I was going to have it painted and decided that the new buyer my not agree with my chosen color scheme so ill leave that up to you ,The bike has never given me any trouble at all ,I don't ride much but have been to many shows ,I'm sure I missed something in the description ,If you have any questions call me 706 304 1829 ,I have clear title in hand and it needs nothing to drive off ,I also have 2 keys for the ignition

Payment can be made via paypal if you pay the 3% fee,Other than that cash or bank check, the bike wont leave my yard until it has cleared for a few days

More from Harley-Davidson on Krawiec’s win: “I think this is really a statement on the season, to end it with an all-Harley final and the championship, and with Willie G.
